Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Guilin
Arrive in Guilin and meet your private guide for your transfer to the hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, take a relaxed introduction to the city with a walk around the central lakes and rivers or explore nearby local streets.
The remainder of the day is free to rest and prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2 — Longji Rice Terraces
After breakfast, travel north from Guilin to the Longji Rice Terraces, one of the region’s most impressive rural landscapes.
Walk through mountain villages and terraced fields that follow the contours of the hillsides. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views and learn about traditional farming and village life in the region.
The appearance of the terraces changes throughout the year, from water-filled fields in spring to green summer landscapes and golden rice before harvest.
Return to Guilin in the late afternoon.
Day 3 — Li River Cruise to Yangshuo
After breakfast, transfer to the pier and board a scenic Li River cruise from Guilin toward Yangshuo.
Travel through a landscape of limestone peaks, riverside villages, bamboo groves, and farmland. The changing karst scenery along the river is one of the signature experiences of the Guilin region.
Arrive in Yangshuo and continue to your hotel. Later, explore the town and enjoy some free time to discover its restaurants, cafés, and local streets.
Day 4 — Yangshuo Countryside & Departure
Begin the morning with a relaxed exploration of the Yangshuo countryside, where dramatic limestone peaks rise above rice fields, rivers, and small villages.
Depending on your interests and pace, explore the rural area on foot or enjoy a leisurely cycling experience along quiet country roads.
Stop at selected viewpoints and villages before returning to Yangshuo.
After the countryside experience, transfer to Guilin airport or railway station for your onward journey.
